IF we needed proof that parenting has changed dramatically in the last generation, this is it. When a politician resigns to spend more time with his family - and means it - we can see that even the most ambitious career man considers that playing a role in the upbringing of his children is vital. A few years ago, the children of a cabinet minister would have seen him once in a blue moon.
