Cablevision, Time Warner Gear Up For Initial VoIP Rollouts
The moves by Time Warner and Cablevision also come as such independent IP telephony firms as Vonage Holdings surge ahead in the nascent Voice over IP (VoIP) market. In its latest pronouncement late last month, Vonage said it just activated its 25,000th VoIP line, up from 10,000 earlier in the year.
